Who are we?
The Dang Yankee Boykin Spaniel club was formed by a group of dedicated
Boykin Spaniel owners in the New Jersey, Ohio and Pennsylvania. After visiting
Boykin Spaniel Society sponsored events in the South; the founders realized
that it is the responsibility of all Boykin owners to do what is best for "The Dog
that doesn't rock the boat" and decided to create an organization that would
serve to heighten the visibility of this amazing breed in the North.
The core tenants of the organization are a focus on the uniqueness of the
breed both in training and in competition, a mind for responsible breeding and
health screening practices, and an overall sense or responsibility to one of the
world's finest hunting dogs.
It is the goal of the DYBSC to provide a fun, social and informative environment
where all Boykin owners and lovers in the North can learn from each other and
each others' dogs!
