Another great day out with the dogs!!
Thirteen members a couple of friends and 10 LBDs (Little Brown Dogs) descended on the Caroline County Game Preserve near Denton Maryland for a
day food, fun and field. The sponsors of the event were DYBSC Members Bill and Tina Hamrick. The owner of the preserve was Donnie Swan.
The weather was damp but not our spirits. The day began with coffee and donuts followed by a short business meeting and a safety discussion by Bill
Hamrick. Hunting began in groups of four and the action was steady. The LBDs acquitted themselves well and after a great homemade lunch prepared
by Tina we held a successful raffle of items collected, again by Tina, ( Are you getting the recurring theme here?) where we raised $100.00.
The action resumed after lunch and the final total of birds was a combination of sixty pheasants, quail and chuckar partridge.
