Currently a group of Boykin Spaniel owners and enthusiasts in the Northeast
are in the process of setting up a club for the Yankee Brown Dogs. They are
planning to organize training, competitive and social events in the area. By
starting a local club members can learn from each others experiences, help
the browns be all that they can be, and uphold the strong Boykin traditions built
in the South!!

The Boykin Spaniel Society National Field Trial will be held March 25-28 at the Clinton House in Clinton, SC.

Friend of the DYBSC, Windrift Kennels in Cochranton, PA is hosting Spaniel Training Clinic May 14-16. The
trainer for the weekend is David Lisett. Mr Lisett is the Gundog Handler for the Duke of Buccleuch’s Estates in
Scotland and has the distinction of winning the U.K./Irish Spaniel Championships 7 times. He spends his
time working with both spaniels and labs so this event should be a great one for our little brown dogs.
